Topband: Delaware report

With the band wide open to Europe when we arrived home from work at 0600z --
with many weak signals and new call signs heard and worked -- I had high
hopes for sunrise and Asia. But JA7NI was the only signal heard, around
1200z, very weak from the SW (on the 500' Beverage) and no QSO. Tried
numerous CQs on 1831 to no avail. I heard some W4 stations working many JAs,
so apparently the curtain was down only for the Northeast.

Santa has an FT1000MP under the tree ... maybe that will help next time!
