Topband: UU4JMG and 1830 spur

Last night about 0300z we heard stations on the east coast working 
UU4JMG on 1830 KHz.  There is a fairly weak BC spur on that freq 
and so no copy at all on the UU4.  Then W8JI moved him to 1831 
KHz and bingo, the UU4 was peaking 569 in Utah.  So even if your 
signal is much stronger than the carrier (which was about S3) if you 
are zero beat with it it masks your signal.  If you want stations out 
west to work you, DON'T TRANSMIT ON 1830.  73, AL K7CA DM37jo UT
