TopBand: Band behaviour

Hi all!

Maybe the subject is not right for this reflector, but in my opinion it concerns any ham
related reflector.

It´s very sad to see how the general behaviour is getting worse and worse on our bands.
In general I guess it has to do with lack of respect for other people, as shown in different
expressions.

Here in EU there is one very loud station from germany whos name is Wil. However,
the problem is not his signalstrength, but more that he has a rotten splatter on SSB,
as well as clix on CW. Always about 20KHz broad!

Anyway, guess the really big problem is an attitude problem. Have tried adress the station
with a friendly approach, telling him that he is splattering and asking him to check his
amplifier. The response is either totally ignoring my comment or saying "so, you want
to complain..." and then carry on CQing or whatever.

How do we handle this problem in general? My fear is that the lower demands on radioamateurs in the future ( 5 WPM CW for licence etc) will further degree the band use.

I´m sorry for the bandwith if you guys think I´m way out of line here...
