Topband: Upcoming: 5C8M / CN8WW on Topband

Dear fellow Topbanders,

I'm pleased to announce that there will be a
major Topband activity surrounding our
upcoming Multi/Multi-Operation in the
CQ WWDX SSB and CW contests from
Morocco.

The team will arrive for the SSB-part in
Morocco October 20th and will hopefully
be ready to start operations on Topband
latest October 25th.

For me as bandcaptain 160m it again will
be a pleasure to serve the Deserving. 
We'll use a Titanex V160 Vertical (27m or abt.
80 ft high) directly on the beach. 6 Beverages
and an Inv-Vee for high angle grayline-condx
will complete the antenna setup.

Working times in the beginning will probably 
be 17:36 (sunset in CN) until 22:00Z and
04:00 until 06:44Z (sunrise in CN).

We will be on air mainly in CW before and
after the contest using the special callsign
5C8M. In the contest look for us 
(even if you have worked us before in CW)
at 1855 +/-, we will use the call CN8WW
(special QSL card with 5- or 6-Band stickers,
when you got us on several bands).

In order to be able to work the most critical
DX areas (Far East Asia, Pacific, South
Africa and South America) I would be glad to
hear from you in advance to arrange some
