>From The Daily DX:

A multi-national team of Amateur Radio operators will operate this
year's CQ World Wide SSB DX Contest from Malyj Vysotskij Island. The
group from Russia, Finland and the United States will be on the island
and operating on the air from October 26th to 31st. The main emphasis
of this operation will be the CQ WW SSB DX Contest however since
previous MVI operations have been in the summer months, they will
concentrate on 40, 80 and 160 meters CW before the main event. No
activity is planned for 12, 17 and 30 meters during this trip.
Operators include OH2BAD, OH2BR, OH2KI, OH5BM, OH5NE, OH5SC, UA9XMG,
RA1ALY, RA3AUU, RU1AS, RW1AC, AA6BH, K6JL, N6AA, N6ZZ and W6NV. The
Russian operators are taking along some EME equipment and plan to
operate in the EME contest that same weekend. They will use either
R1MVR or R1MVZ as there seems to be some confusion as to which of
these two calls will be issued. QSL via K6VNX.
