Topband: west-coast 23rd Sep.

Hello Topbanders!
It came as it had to!  We got the first rain after about 4 weeks and it was 
accompanied by thunder and lightning.  When i heard it in the middle of the 
night, i said to myself, i wont be surprised if tomorrow there are decent condx 
they will be ruined by this ...-qrn.  Exactly that happened,called CQ and W6PBI
from Nevada rolled in on a huge signal, next was N6FF, N0AV and W0AH. I heard a
few other west coast in there, but thru the qrn no chance at all. Funny to hear 
a very pronounced flutter on all the signals, even east-coast big guns like
W2JB 
had auroral sound.  Lets hope for more openings like that!
