XR0ZY spent quite a bit of time Friday, 4/21 before 0410 UTC on 1830 KHz.
Copy was very weak and was plagued by an 1830 Bcst harmonic and heavy QRN
at this MD QTH. I went down to the bottom end of the band and caught
Jukka, VP6BR on 1801 having a good time working the NA, SA & European
stations.

By 04:20Z XR0ZY had moved up about 2 KHz and became easy copy and within
5 minutes San Ambrosio Isl. (San Felix) was in the K1HTV log as
country #178 with 100 Watts. Word is that Jukka, OH2BR will be leaving
Pitcairn this weekend. One can only hope that he leaves his Topband
antennas for the Friday night/Saturday morning operation.
