Topband: 160 RX observations

I live 14 air miles from the King of Topband, W8LRL.
I have been on 160 using a C line, TS-830 FT-920 and now an
FT-1000MP.  Each rig has had Fox Tango, Sherwood or Inrad filters
based on who was in business at the time.
Only with the FT-1000MP and Inrad filters can I be QRV on 160 while Wal
is also on the band.
Yes it IS empirical but my ability to hear and work the
new ones is the real test.  I have found the theory interesting
but the QSO and QSL are what put a smile on my face.
