Topband: Inverted L Antennas

Hi  All.

Did any of you note "The Low-Profile EMGP" antenna in the January, 2000,
issue of CQ Magazine, pages 96 & 97, by Arnie, CO2KK.  It is basically an
inverted L for 10 meters as described.

>From measurements on the Battle Creek Special antennas by W0CD, W8UVZ and
K8GG, we noted that the ground plane is better with thirty-two 1/8 wave
radials than with sixteen 1/4 wave radials, as the ground losses are lower
and return currents are higher.
