Topband: Receiver recommendations, please!

I have more receivers than I know what to do with!  I am particularly fond of 
Collins and Drake.  Am thinking about having my Drake R4C modified by 
Sherwood.  With an Icom 775, am I going to appreciate the advantages of the 
modified R4C on the TOP BAND, or should I be content with the 775????

What a great group of folks on this reflector!  Thanks for your help.
