Topband: 160m Preamps

A favorite pre amp of mine is the one made by Advanced Receiver Research
(ARR). It Covers 1 to 30 MHz, has 20 dB of gain and has a 2 dB noise figure.
ARR advertises in QST and is headed up by Jay, W1VD. The last time I bought
one they were $22.00.

I use W3NQN receiver bandpass filters ahead of the preamp.
