I just spoke on the telephone with Mark, ON4WW, who was one of the
160-meter operators on the FO0AAA DXpedition to Clipperton Island. He
was just getting ready to fly from L.A. back to his home QTH in Belgium.

He remarked that the DXpedition netted about 75,000 QSOs on all bands in
less than seven days of operation.

Mark carried with him to the island a compact portable "Delta" receiving
antenna, built by ON4UN and optimized for 160m in EZNEC by K6SE. Mark
said the Delta receive antenna worked incredibly well for them and was
responsible for their success on 160m, especially with the good EU
opening they had on March 7th.

I'm sure we all look forward to hearing ON4WW on Topband while he relaxes
at home with his wife and child for a couple of years before his
wanderlust returns.

Bon Voyage, Mark!

73, de Earl, K6SE
