Topband: VK9WI

Hi Gang,

What a pleasant surprise to hear VK9WI coming in a solid 599 at 1230Z today.
It was especially nice because all my beverages are rolled up. I was listening
on my vertically polarized, 10m circumference, shielded loop.  I could barely
hear the JA's calling him however.  My sunrise is 1256Z, and he is still 539
at 1316Z, working JA & YB stations.  Copy on my vertical tx antenna was very
poor, so think his signals may have been at a high angle.
