Topband: Pennant preamp

I have read and built - with great interest - the Pennant antenna subject
and am about to decide how to get a preamp for the antenna. I cant seem to
find a www.link to ZJ electronic (K2ZJ) It must have been shut down. 

Is he still making the amplifiers ?
 
For the fun of a simple winter project I am alternatively looking for a
schematic of a 20 dB preamp with bandpass filter for 1.8 - 4 Mc. Any
suggestions ? (I can design the bandpassfilter myself ).
