Topband: What's best way to connect a beverage to an ICOM 765?

I have some rather simple questions that I feel sure have been addressed
previously.  If someone could point me to an approximate date in the
archives, I'd be more than happy to search thru them.

I assume the beverage is connected to the "RECEIVE ANT IN" jack on the
back of the IC-765 (jumper between OUT & IN is removed).
1-How do you get a 50 ohm coax into a phono jack?
2-How do you switch between the beverage and the jumper (transmit ant) so
   that you can listen with either one?
3-At the moment I'm putting up only one beverage, but I plan more.  How do
   you get them switched in?
