Topband: Parallel vertical wires

Doug and Steve,

I'm running a 66 foot wire vertical for 80 and a 135 foot inverted-L for 160
(66 feet vertical, 69 feet horizontal), with the wires 6 inches apart, gound
mounted, feed in parallel at the base with a single 50 ohm coax, against a
substantial radial field.

SWR and performance on both wires is excellent. This is just a fan dipole
turned on its side. There is no reason you can't add another wire for 40.
