Topband: top band real estate

Gas line no problem...Electric fences are a normal part of a good country
qth and are not much of a probem ....a little popping that can be annoying
but not much else.  The main question is how far from neighbors, how far
from power lines, how much land for rx antennas, and then take a mobile and
listen. A car radio tuned to 1700 khz. will tell you of major problems. Line
noise will come and go, so there is no assurance except to be away from the
high voltage lines.  Is it flat and high??
