G'day

Good conditions from the east coast of North America extending into the
Mid-West for around 1 hour, starting at about 1130z. Stations were worked
from Conneticut and New Jersey extending south and east into PEN, MD, FL,
ALA, TN and GA and then east into Texas.

Not much propagation into the more northern states - George W8UVZ was
worked, but was the only station from this area and his signal was well
down from its usual level.

Absolutely nothing in NA was heard east of the Rockies - a disturbing
pattern for this season.

It was great to work Bill 5W0VF for a new one at 1135Z, peaking S8/9. I
have been trying to work Bill since he got there, but conditions have been
terrible into the Pacific. Previous to the 7/12, despite listening
virtually every night, I had only heard him once for a couple of minutes at
S3.
