Topband: CQWW VQ9 Report

Managed 20 QSOs from 1310Z til QRT at 1635Z.  No long haul
worked but heard N7DD with an excellent signal from 1400-
1415Z.  Larry was the only NA copied.  In general sigs were
moderate at best with YB5QZ the strongest.  Used a
shielded loop for receiving with a Beverage as the "noise"
antenna for nulling 1485 kHz AFRTS bcst spurs.

VQ9PO was QRV 1900-0100Z.

Today myself and VQ9VK will be QRV from ~1300Z til end of
contest.  I plan some CQing on 1832-34 thru west coast
sunrise.
