Topband: KD9SV variable gain FET preamp circa 1989

I've unearthed an unbuilt kit to construct a tuned in, tuned out @27dB
preamp kit using a 3SK88.

It has been buried since 1989.  I'd be grateful for any words of advice
from those who have or are using one.  I have the instructions.
