Topband: Silver solder

I just use regular solder and then swab the joint with a gob of roofing
compund.  You can get a lifetime supply of it (for solder joint purposes) at
Home Depot for a few dollars.  I have connections that have been in the
ground for over 20-years and they are still fine.
