As K1ZM said, I am again a part of this year's VB2V DXpedition. We will
again be at Lac Ouescapais, 50.2 N latitude and 77.1 W Long, about 50 miles
north of Matagami, Quebec. We set up Field Day style, with most of us
arriving there the Monday before the contest. We will be entering the MM
category again this year, with 6 full stations and 20 ops.

On 160M, we will have a 70 ft vertical top loaded vertical, a TS850, and a
full limit amp. We should be able to make a lot of noise for those that
need it. Right now the weather looks colder and wetter than last year, but
I'll let you know for sure when I get up there on Monday.

Our biggest concern is aurora- our 160M station was essentially shut down
the second night last year due to the massive aurora that engulfed us!

Before the contest, we will be doing some general operating, with a special
effort for our JA friends on 80M CW on Thurs/Fri mornings before the contest
and the Monday morning after the contest and 6M. For those wishing more
info, send me an e-mail (before Sat PM) or visit our web site at
 www.fortunecity.com/marina/westindia/597/zone2/

Hope to see everyone on the band!
