I think I may have confused things by throwing the trade name "Twinax" into 
the equation.  The stuff we used with Wang computers and WP gear was more 
like 2x RG59, 2 1/4 inch coaxial cables in one molded jacket.  I don't know 
what the impedance was.  It was terminated with ordinary BNC or TNC 
connectors, and was reasonably flexible -- better in that respect than a 
single RG-213.  Some of it was Teflon jacketed, and approved, I believe, 
for installation inside drop ceilings (at least, that's where ours was).
