I'm really enjoying this "one way propagation" discussion.

Living in the Southern hemisphere where we are facing now a QRN floor
around s9 and
heavy thunderstorms almost every night, some people think we are deaf. I
kindly ask
these guys to turn the radio next summer on a night with thunderstorm in
the neighborhood.

Several brazilian stations we active during the CQWW, including ZX5J, a
huge contest station
keeped by the Araucaria DX Group. Using a full 1/4 wave vertical with more
than 70 radials, beverages beaming US and EU and full legal power, ZX5J was
heard much more than could hear, due to the noise level here - a very
frustrating situation.

Another point I would like to raise is the fact that several stations keep
calling CQ on tests,
and do not listen carefully after each call. Having a long callsign, I
noted during the CQWW
several stations were already calling CQ again before I finished to send my
complete call. This
is also very frustrating.
