Topband: FT-1000D External Receive

Thanks to everyone for all of the replies. I stopped by the club
yesterday and looked at the FT-1000D schematic. Near as I
can tell, Yaesu doesn't open or short the external RX port during
transmit. The front-end saver looks like a good idea, but as
Pete suggests I may have to install some kind of diode limiter
as well since there may be situations where someone is
using one of the other HF operating positions at the station
while the receive antennas are connected to the FT-1000D.
