     Ladies/Gentlemen/Others
It is that time of year again. The leaves, snow and some of my shingles
have fallen. The Boring Amateur Radio Club is very proud to announce the
7th running of the Stew Perry Topband DX Exhibition. It is only one
month away so there is yet time to throw up some wires in various
configurations and get on and play. This year's edition will be run
Dec. 28th and 29th. The rules and further information can be found at:

      http://jzap.com/k7rat/stew.html

This contest has its awards come from whatever the combatants feel is
important. K1PX has done an outstanding job in sending certificates to
the deserving. There exists a plaque program whereby any classification
that is important to anybody for any reason, (within the broad good
tastes of the Boring Amateur Radio Club) will be awarded. All that is
necessary for a plaque to be engendered is to notify me of your
intentions and send $50.00 to the address below. Directly below is a
listing of the plaques already spoken for. Two of the plaques are
"carry-overs" from last year as they went unclaimed. The sponsors may
certainly change the category by notifying me of what they would like to
sponsor this year, if they wish.

When inspiration strikes, just let me know and you, too can
sponsor a plaque. The plaques for 2001 are going into the mail today. At
least 80% of them. The other 20% will be coming along as soon as the
plaque making elves correct some of the symbols into a recognizable
language.
The Boring Amateur Radio Club thanks the sponsors from last year
and we hope to hear all of you on for this year's edition of The Stew
Perry Top Band DX Exhibition.
      73 and I remain,
