Topband: Hay Bale Twine as guy wire

Perhaps better for long term Rope...I have been using this stuff for years
in a couple of the different strength's 

 3/32" material is 260 pounds breaking strength $44.00 /1000'

3/16" is 770 pounds $90.00 /1000'

 5/16" is 1790 pounds $75.00 /500'

7/16" is 2100 pounds  $165.00 /500'

Years later you can still untie the knots in it and re-tie with no
problems......
