Topband: Stew Perry DX Window and cluster usage

Hello Stew Perry participants from down under.

I think some of you have missed the point about DX Window and should not confuse it with the normal band plan when operating the SP contest.

As far as I am concerned it is one "big" Dx window as it is a DX challenge contest.

Although I would appreciate a North America - contest station free calling zone, from 1830 to 1835 to enable us low power "long distance" dx type stations to be heard.

As far as the DX cluster is concerned I don't mind the casual DX operator/casual contest operator posting contest stations, but what is totally unacceptable is including the grid locator info in the posting.

These stations who do such postings with grid locator info are just tempting us mere humans to "cheat".

Of course the posters are just casual contest operators or other and you cannot do anything about this.

It is up to us the serious Stew Perry entrants not to view and use such info and this in many cases would be too much to expect.

The stew perry was much better down under this year (in VK3) with not as much summer static this year. North america was better than last year but still weak. Twice as many contacts and stations heard this year than last year.
