Like this "sounds" much better. A reasonable number of turns for the band in
use and a larger diameter winding.
Note that each time the number of turns is doubled, the reactance is
multiplied by a ratio of four.>>>

Maybe much more than four. Any shunt capacitance from end-to-end caused by
bunching the winding increases the choking impedance as long as the shunt
capacitive reactance is greater that HALF the value of inductive reactance
it is across.
Doubling turns very often can be significantly more than four times the
impedance.
Sometimes it can be dozens of times increase.
That's actually a useful tool to increase impedance.
