Topband: wave-tilt development at sea/land interface

g'day to all on the reflector

just wondering if anyone has modelled the development
of wave tilt for a skywave signal as it passes over and
in the vicinity of a sea/land interface. i presume NEC
has this capability.

there must be dynamic phenomena at such a
gross discontinuity in ground conductivity
(5000mS to 1/10mS within a matter of metres)
in both amplitude and phase of the travelling wave.
this would affect the gain and directivity of a beverage
antenna located in this region.

obviously my interest is in whether there is an optimum
location for a beverage antenna in this environment
and how that location can be determined.
