prankster, or a hoax.

50 minute echo delay. 11 million miles per minute.
Half-a-billion miles.

On the other hand if someone wanted to create a false LDE,
all they'd need is a $50 electronic device and a few hours
of idle time.
My bet is someone is rolling around on the floor laughing
his posterior off.
