Correction: Due to a moment of shear stupidity by the Beacon Tribune
Editor, Andy Blank, N2NE, FN20 in central New Jersey was omitted. He did
correctly copy the 200uW 80 meter beacon. This was Andy's first try at
receiving the now famous signal and he got it on the first shot out of the
cannon. Nice work Andy!

Last night sucked. The remants of a coronal mass ejection slammed into the
magnetosphere with devastating effects on 40 meters. Bill, W4ZV, almost
copied the 315uW signal getting two letters of the code word (WATT)
correct. I switched to Turbo mode and kept it there for the remainder of
the run (8.26mW). Again, Bill, W4ZV was the only station to correctly copy
code word WHO.

Tonight will be a 160 meter calibration run at 1mW. If the rain stops, I
can get the inverted L up in the air. I will be switching between the
inverted L and dipole with unique code words for each.
