Top Banders,
Spent a while under the hot tropical sun getting the far end of Peter, 9V1PC's inverted L up into a tree in the jungle behind his new house. The last attempt involved black spitting cobra's which seem to think the territory is theirs, but this time we were firing lead weights from a slingshot a safer distance from the big trees and the dense undergrowth. (Several lead balls broke free but no reports of casualties the other side of the forest so far).
Long story short, it is fed on the roof of his three storey house, goes up just over ten metres and out about 33 metres and loads well. Peter has a new amp with two 3-500Z's so 9V will be QRV now from his QTH on 160m. The only catch is Peter has gotten used to sleeping late in the morning, so if you need his home number for a sked, just drop me an email and I am sure you can wake him up. The 9V1GO antenna for 160m is down, the new one at YB5/9V1GO is up so the new 'GO about 35 miles south of Singapore maybe will cause a bit of QRM but not a problem for Peter I think.
73 and hope to work you all from Batam Island OC075. In the meantime, don't hesitate to ask for the phone number of Peter 'PC as he has a great sense off humour.
