The transformer for a Flag/Pennant show on W8JI.com and also in the latest  
ON4UN Low Band Dxing book using 3 binocular cores can be assembled perfectly,  
including weatherproofing and connectors, in less that 30 mins AND the parts  
from Amidon including the teflon tubing and enameled wire if you need it are  
less than their 10.00 minimum.
 
Tom's photo on his web site and the brief details in the book could'nt be  
simpler...
 
And the transformers work very well ... but per the guidance in the book,  
not a bad idea to do a short term with them with a simple resistor and impedance 
 bridge ... (hell just VOM'ing the resistors aint a bad idea  either)
