Topband: Shunt fed tower guying question

Hi topbanders,

If I've missed an obvious answer to this question I apologize. I
couldn't find any reference which really seems to provide an answer.

I'm getting ready to put up a tower which will be shunt fed for 160.
Preassembled guys broken up by insulators came with the used tower
I bought. All guys have a double insulator at the tower end. That
is, about 3 feet of wire, 502 insulator, 3 feet of wire, another 502
insulator. After that the insulators were spaced at about 1/8
wavelength. I'm not going as high with the tower, so my guy anchors
won't be as far out. On the bottom set of guys I will have to cut
the wire just before the next insulator. So I would have the double
insulator near the tower, then about 60 feet of wire coming down to
the anchor. Is that OK, or do I need to add an insulator back in
near the anchor end? The higher sets won't have this problem as the
length required will leave the next insulator assembly intact.
