Topband: conditions this morning

Conditions seemed unusual on topband this morning from Albany NY to JA.  On
one hand, it was the best morning ever with 10 JA qso's logged.  But signals
were generally not as strong as on a few other mornings this season.  Many
of the JA big guns were much harder to copy than expected.  The one notable
exception was JA1JRK, who was probably 2 S units louder than anyone else.

In any event, it's certainly a good portent of things to come on topband.
