Topband: Receiving Loops

Good Afternoon All:

 

At last the radials are down and it is time to put up a receiving antenna.
As is the case for most city dwellers, some compromises must be made.
Therefore, let me ask:  Has anyone constructed a K9AY or similar terminated
loop antenna with one end near a chain link fence, and if so, what were the
results?  By near, I'm talking about within 1-2 feet.
