SNIP..........
I suppose I should just quit trying to work through the ever strong
Equatorial noise on 160M and work the easy bands instead. It's a lot
less strain on my ears, and I don't have to stay up late to do it.

...........Unsnip

Charles my good friend,

I have been accused of even worse over the years from noise infested
locations, you do a bloody good job, I know, you heard me from G4VGO
with my 100w barefoot signal when the amp was down.

All I can say is, if they are so critical (and thing they can do
better), pay for a ticket, sit in a chair here, at your house, or
anywhere near the equator, and see how much they can hear.

KEEP IT UP MATE!....non illigitimi carborundum.....or something like
that in Latin.

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely
in a pretty and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside,
thoroughly used up, totally worn out and loudly proclaiming, 'Wow, what
a ride!'
