Topband: JA Recording

Good Morning Topbanders,

Yesterday morning JL8GFB made a good recording of N4IS in S. Fla calling
CQ on 1.814 mHz.  It is at    jl8gfb.com-sys.jp/recording/070723.n4is.html
Add   http://   to front of address, with no space, to listen.

Man was using an IC-7800 at 250 hZ bandwidth, audio peak filter, and notch
 filter tuned close to one side of the passband.

 Is more proof to me that topband is open all year, but many roll up the
 Beverages for some reason.  Will be glad when the world decides to open the
 band back up this fall.  The guys in the southern hemisphere are waiting.
