Lee, thank you for your reply.
There is no DSL, we should have noticed that before, the telephone line 
ends in our clubstation. Anyway, I will check to make sure.

We dont want to bother the farmer any further than necessary.

The fence is a bit more than 1m high, with 3 wires with abt. 30cm 
vertical spacing, not sure if that would make a good beverage.

Any further comments?
Or should we just go for it and see what we can achieve?
