Nothing against the Inrad roofing filter mods but do the W8JI noise 
blanker mod first (it involves moving one resistor).  You may find 
that the IMD issues are due to IMD generation in the noise blanker 
even when turned off).  Some tests show a decline in IMD DR with the 
Inrad roofing filter compared with the noise blanker mod.
