Topband: Balun for a balanced tuner ?

Topbanders,
i request your expert advice.
I plan to build a balanced tuner and am not sure what balun to use.
The tuner should handle qro 160-10m.

Question:
Has someone tried a W2DU balun at the input for this purpose?
Is it a good choice?
If so, can/should i ground the balun at its output or only at its input?

I cannot find a circuit diagram for a XMatch, anyone has an idea where 
to look?
