Topband: 160M Loop

Just acquired a 160M loop to hopefully aid in rx.  In a quandry as to where to put it.  Qth is generally surrounded by mountains (Adirondack Mt. location) but home is in somewhat of a valley.  Do I leave it near the ground or try and get it elevated as much as possible?
