Topband: Conditions last night

I was active during the ARRL 160 contest. Till 04Z I had a regular QSO 
rate. Worked almost all of the ARRL sections in call area 1, 2, 3, 4, 8 
and 9
But that was it. I listed for a while to US stations working west coast, 
but I could not hear anything of the west coast stations.
As from 04Z it looked like someone switched off the propagation. Signals 
were suddenly much lower.
Decided to go home and sleep around 05 Z.

Will be on coming night.
