The problem has many names
1. splatter
2. key clicks
3 broad signal
4. Hard keying
Ahh that is the problem. Hmmm what is hard keying. Well it is when a
station is sending a CW Square wave. Now what is a square wave My trusty OLD radio
Manual says. "It is an infinite number of Odd Harmonics. These harmonics
make the signal wide.
Gee why would anybody want a wide signal?. Well I would guess to kee other
stations away so they would have a clear frequency??

Anybody else have an answer??
