Very doubtful unless you have the cable firmly anchored at 
the ends with no slack or stress relief. It is normally from 
mechanical tension either during or after installation. Been 
there, had it happen.

Tell Mr. Ed to quit pulling on the coax or it's off to the 
glue factory.
