Fond memories of W5SUS here too from Kansas.  He gave me help in the early
days while I was W0PSF.  I was later living in Wichita when I got a call
from John saying that he was in town visiting his father, could he drop by
for a visit.  I warned my wife that an older ham was coming by.  John ran
the doorbell, we visited a bit and then he asked if his father could come
in.  Up from the car sprinted his very old father!  Farewell to another
