Topband: lightning protection on 4 sq

I carn't see why not just use 1/4 wave shorted stubs at each vertical
??this would blead static es lighten to gnd!es not effect the delay lines!
also on this is it ok to use a coax impedance other than 50/75 ohms? Can i
use 92 ohm coax cut to 1/4 wave lines for the shorted stubs.. as i have a
500 ft roll of 92 ohm coax can i use this for the shorted stub on each of
the 4 verticals? on my 4 sq?
