Hi, Herb.

My name is Jennifer White and through an interesting series of searches I
discovered your posting four years ago about EP2TV
http://lists.contesting.com/_topband/2004-03/msg00262.html.

I don't have a QSL card for your collection (I so wish that I did) but did want
to let you know that Jerry Poplin, EP2TV, WA5KUK, died 11 months after his call
was issued in 1986.

My family and I lived in Iran in the 70s (2nd through 5th grade to me)--he was
slightly younger than my mother--and we were great friends.  I had no idea that
he was operating then, but obviously he was and I almost wonder how he was
issused the call about 10 years prior to having one in the US.  A mystery.

Well, just wanted to let you know.
