Good Morning Everyone,

Well, it certainly would appear that all of the hard work & dedication(!) here on the part of yours truly in the matter of re-tuning the individual "L" elements in my system has paid off --- either that, or credit goes to the addition of the 7 extra radials per "L"...

In any event, the net result here has been FOUR new ones in the log in eight days! That's one new DXCC addition every other day...

Hmmm...at THIS rate, I should make 160-Meters DXCC Honor Roll less than a year from now! Hi Hi.

I only wish that I had more scrap wire laying around to unroll atop the grass...I even actually seem to be getting used to the poison ivy that I always manage to come into contact with in the thicket adjacent to my property whenever I lay these things down...

An interesting aside: more often than not, received signals from afar are actually MORE copyable on the transmitting antenna now, than they are on either the K9AY, or the Beverage...that was most certainly NOT the case when I started-out the season with just a single inverted "L"...

Do others who use directive transmitting antennas on the band find this to be so, as well...?
